I made these series of works while an Artist in Residence at Lakeside Lab in Northwestern Iowa. During that time, I joined a group taking a summer course on Reciprocity. The readings, discussions, and visits to protected sites by the Dakota Peoples deeply impacted the work I made during this residence, including the performance piece Kinship.
