New Season, 2021

I made these medium to large-scale works on paper made during my time as Deep Ecology Artist Fellow at Ohio-based organization United Plant Savers. This was the first direct exposure I had to the Ohio landscape. I painted these in response to my observations at the plant sanctuary during spring. These works were pivotal in my practice and opened up a new avenue of exploration and aesthetics informed by the landscape.
